Pocahontas was a little and playful girl before the British settled in Jamestown. She was the daughter of chief Powhatan . When settlers arrived in Jamestown Pocahontas gave the settlers food and then she fell in love with John Smith. When the Native Americans tried to kill John Smith but Pocahontas saved him and convinced her dad that we should get along with the settlers. Then a few years  later when John Smith died Pocahontas married John Rolfe and then started following the Christian religion and also changed her name to Rebecca. An year later when the two were traveling to Jamestown Pocahontas had a son but she died. She was only 22 years old.
